Our client is a major organisation delivering essential services across critical infrastructure, with a strong focus on operational reliability, data-driven decision-making and service improvement. They are seeking an IT Technical Lead - Data & Analytics with strong ServiceNow capability to play a key role in a significant Operational Technology upgrade program, leading the design and delivery of modern ServiceNow and data solutions that improve data collection, strengthen data quality and support better business insights.

About the Role

As the IT Technical Lead - Data & Analytics, you will lead the architecture, development and implementation of enterprise data solutions across ServiceNow, SQL databases, ETL and API-based data ingestion pipelines, and Power BI. Blending technical delivery with leadership, you will help shape scalable, secure and high-performing data systems that enable reliable reporting, improved insights and informed business decisions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, analysts and external vendors to deliver practical, future-focused solutions across data collection, collation, business intelligence and governance.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise data solutions using ServiceNow and related technologies.
- Define best-practice approaches for data modelling, storage and integration across SQL and cloud platforms.
- Provide technical leadership across code reviews, documentation and development standards.
- Design and implement robust data pipelines using ServiceNow, APIs, ETL tools and other integration technologies.
- Improve data quality, consistency and reliability across connected systems.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that translate business requirements into actionable insights.
- Deliver data-related initiatives from concept through to implementation, ensuring timelines and quality expectations are met.




- Coordinate with business analysts, IT teams, operational stakeholders and external vendors.
- Support data governance, security, access controls, data lineage and audit requirements.

What You'll Bring

- Proven experience leading technical teams or technical delivery within data and analytics projects.
- Strong expertise across ServiceNow, SQL Server, ETL tools and Power BI.
- Experience with ServiceNow Mobile App Builder, Form Designer and configuring Mobile Agent for offline access.
- Ability to configure Dispatcher Workspace, dynamic scheduling and work order templates.
- Experience using Flow Designer and Business Rules to streamline Field Service Management processes.
- Capability designing responsive forms and intuitive layouts for field-based users.
- Solid understanding of data architecture, data warehousing and cloud technologies such as Databricks.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API and REST/SOAP integrations for mobile workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in data environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Highly Regarded

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience with additional data tools or platforms, including Databricks.
