About the Role Reporting to the Coordinator Fleet & Procurement, you will ensure Council's procurement activities are compliant, cost-effective and support the timely delivery of projects and operational works. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and procurement organisations to achieve best-value outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for goods and services
- Coordinate RFQs, EOIs and tender processes
- Maintain supplier relationships and contract compliance
- Coordinate inventory management and stocktakes
- Ensure procurement policy and legislative compliance
- Provide procurement advice and training to Council staff
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Support operational teams with timely supply of materials

About You
You'll bring:
- Certificate IV in Procurement (or equivalent) or significant procurement experience
- Experience in procurement, purchasing or contract administration
- Strong supplier negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Experience with inventory management and purchasing systems
- A current Class C Driver Licence
