We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chefs to join our operations in Burnside, SA.
Key responsibilities
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with all relevant regulations and company policies
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to understand customer preferences and ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor food costs and waste, implementing strategies to improve profitability without compromising quality
Maintain kitchen equipment and facilities, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed
Oversee staffing schedules and ensure adequate kitchen coverage during service periods
What we're looking for
Proficiency in modern breakfast and lunch service.
Proven experience as a Chef or Senior Chef in a busy hospitality setting
Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations and health code compliance
Creative flair and ability to develop innovative menus whilst maintaining operational efficiency
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions whilst maintaining quality standards
Sound knowledge of food costs, budgeting and inventory management
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with all team members
