Job Description

We're looking for a Sales Consultant to play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences from first enquiry through to booking. Using your natural communication skills, you will convert enquiries into bookings and contribute to the continued growth of our premium walking experiences in a supportive, team-focused environment.

- Connecting with guests through phone, email, online enquiries and recommend the perfect walking experience.
- Converting enquiries into bookings through exceptional communication, relationship-building and consultative selling.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with guests, trade partners and business networks.
- Following up on opportunities professionally and proactively to maximise conversion.
- Providing accurate product advice and sharing your passion for our walking experiences.
- Managing booking information, payments, reservations and administrative tasks with accuracy and care.
- Coordinating trio logistics and supporting operational requirements to ensure a seamless guest journey.

About the Candidate

- Proven experience achieving sales targets and KPI's.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences.
- A consultative and proactive sales style, with the confidence to build rapport quickly, identify opportunities, influence decisions and close sales.
- Excellent administration skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, enquiries and programs at once while maintaining accuracy.
- Comfortable with CRM software or demonstrated experience in learning to use new systems quickly.
- A genuine passion for travel, adventure, nature, sustainability and the multi-day walking industry.
- Ability to work flexibility over a 6-day roster.
- Experience working within the tourism, travel, hospitality or a similar customer-focused industry is highly desirable

Work Environment

This is a full-time permanent position, based in our Launceston Office with the option for a Hybrid work arrangement.
