Located just 10 minutes from beautiful Mooloolaba Beach, our family-owned swim school has been helping children build confidence in the water for generations.

We're looking for an experienced, caring, and enthusiastic Swim Instructors who are passionate about teaching babies, toddlers, and young children in a calm, nurturing, and supportive setting.

Pay Rate

$38 - $48 per hour depending on qualifications, experience, and ability.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering structured 20-minute swim lessons using the Shapland Program progression levels, ensuring each child develops the skills required to achieve their next milestone.

- Teaching babies, toddlers, and children up to 9 years of age in boutique classes of up to three students.

- Providing engaging, high-quality swim instruction tailored to each child's individual needs and ability.

- Creating a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment where children feel confident to learn and grow.

- Building solid, trusting relationships with children and their families through excellent communication and customer care.

- Assisting with day-to-day swim school operations, including client communication and supporting the smooth running of lessons.

- Working confidently both independently and as part of a friendly, supportive team committed to delivering exceptional swimming education.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a warm,



professional, and highly experienced Swim Instructor who values quality teaching, small class sizes, and building long-term relationships with families.

Essential Requirements

- Recognized Swim Teaching Qualification (AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia or international equivalent)

- Experience teaching babies, toddlers, and children up to 9 years of age is preferred

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement)

- Eligible to hold a current Queensland Blue Card

- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently

- Commitment to remain with our team for a minimum of 6-12 months

- Full Australian working rights

Desirable

- Ability to attend three days of paid induction and training to learn the Shapland Swim School program, teaching philosophy, and operating systems.

- A genuine passion for early childhood development and water safety education.

- Experience delivering structured swimming programs with a strong focus on skill progression and individual outcomes.

Business Operating Schedule

- Closed for 1 week during each school holiday period

- Closed for 2-3 weeks over Christmas and New Year
