Due to strong growth and a surge in client demand, we at Trinity Cyber Security are hiring a Senior Cloud Security Consultant to join our Professional Services team.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune - delivering scalable, secure modern workplace solutions for government agencies and public listed organisations.

As a subject matter expert, you will lead client engagements end-to-end and support organisations in achieving maturity in data security, governance, and workplace transformation, with a strong focus on the practical implementation of ASD Essential Eight controls across M365 and Azure.

This role is ideal for a passionate and hands-on cloud security consultant looking to expand their exposure across technical leadership, customer advisory, pre-sales collaboration, and practice growth within a rapidly growing cyber security consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead client engagements across assessment, design, implementation, and delivery phases
- Configure and enforce up-to-date security and compliance policies: MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, Purview
- Deliver data governance solutions using Microsoft Purview: classification, labelling, access control, lifecycle policies
- Automate configuration and operations using PowerShell and scripting tools
- Build solutions across Microsoft Intune, AVD, PowerApps, Teams, MDM, and the wider M365 stack
- Develop Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code for scalable deployment of cloud environments
- Collaborate with pre-sales to define project scope and contribute to proposals
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and provide technical governance across project delivery
- Drive continuous improvement and shape our Modern Workplace service offerings

Must-Have

- Microsoft Purview implementation experience (classification, sensitivity labels, lifecycle policies, etc.)




- Demonstrated understanding of ASD Essential Eight and its practical application in enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to translate business needs into technical outcomes

Technical Proficiency

- Deep knowledge of:
- Microsoft Intune / Purview / Endpoint Manager
- Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center
- Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- PowerShell, Bash and Python scripting for automation, policy enforcement, and tenant standardisation
- Experience with SOE design, cloud migrations, and standardised M365 tenant configuration
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform, etc.)

Desirable Certifications

- MS-500 | MS-101 | Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- AZ-900 or equivalent Azure fundamentals
