Join a boutique multi-disciplinary consultancy who prides themselves in excellent quality and making a genuine impact to their community. We’re looking for a structural engineer around the 5–8-year mark who can run projects from start to finish, is RPEQ registered, and can take on leadership and mentoring responsibilities as the team grows. This role is about real responsibility, project variety and ownership of outcomes.

What you’ll do

- Lead and deliver a diverse range of projects (residential, commercial and industrial) from concept to construction.
- Manage projects end-to-end: client brief, design development, technical reviews, coordination, drawings, calculations, approvals, and construction support.
- Sign off your own work (RPEQ-qualified); collaborate with directors for project signoffs when needed.
- Mentor junior engineers and drafters; share knowledge and raise the team’s capability.
- Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure practical, safe, and creative solutions.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and delivering quality work consistently.

What we’re looking for

- 5–8 years of structural engineering experience.




- RPEQ registration (or near completion with a clear plan and timeline to sign off).
- Proven ability to manage projects with minimal supervision and drive them to completion.
- Strong design and analysis skills for luxury residential work; commercial/industrial experience.
- Proficiency with structural software (ETABS, SPACEGASS, Revit , AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of Australian codes and standards; practical understanding of construction methods.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership potential.
- A practical, hands-on mindset with attention to detail.
