Our Canberra team is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to join two well-established practices with robust local reputations and loyal patient bases. This is an opportunity to become part of the community while continuing a long-standing commitment to delivering industry-leading eyecare.
About the Role
This part-time position offers the opportunity to work across two respected Canberra locations:
- 1 day per week at Evans & McMahon Tuggeranong
- 2 days per week at Andrew Watkins Optometrist
- Availability to work occasional Saturdays at Andrew Watkins is required

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an Optometrist who brings:
- A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in delivering comprehensive eye care
- A genuine commitment to putting patient eye health first
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting patient relationships
- A warm, approachable, and community-focused style
- A passion for continuous professional development and staying at the forefront of industry advancements
- An appreciation for both eye health and helping patients feel confident in their eyewear choices
