We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our business at our Jindalee location in Queensland. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in driving the success of our retail operations. As Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store management, including sales performance, staff supervision, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency. This position is integral to maintaining our brand reputation and achieving our business objectives in the competitive retail and consumer products sector.

Key responsibilities

Manage all daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Supervise, train, and motivate retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets

Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to boost revenue

Maintain stock levels, manage inventory, and oversee ordering and receiving of merchandise

Ensure the store environment is clean, well-organised, and visually appealing to customers

Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty

Implement and maintain health, safety, and security standards within the store

Control operational costs and manage the store budget effectively

Report on store performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management

Plan and execute promotional activities and seasonal campaigns

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Diploma of Leadership and Management or equivalent

Minimum one year experience in retail management within the food or consumer products sector





Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team

Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software

Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs

Strong organisational and time management capabilities

Sound knowledge of health, safety, and food handling regulations

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
