Del-Rey Plant Hire is seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Operator to join our team on a casual basis. As a Dump Truck Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and productive transportation of materials on site.
Currently the jobs are spread across the Northern and Western suburbs of Melbourne but this can change at times.
What you'll be doing
- Operating dump trucks safely and in compliance with all relevant legislation and company safety procedures
- Transporting aggregates, soil, waste, rock and other construction materials around site
- Performing routine pre-operation and post-operation inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, routes and hours worked
- Communicating effectively with site supervisors and co workers on site
- Adhering to workplace health and safety requirements at all times
- Assisting with general maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles as directed
Requirements
- Red/white card
- Dump truck / articulated truck licence
- Own transport
