We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize enterprise storage and backup infrastructure. The ideal candidate will serve as the Storage Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading storage architecture, disaster recovery strategies, data center migrations, and enterprise storage modernization initiatives. The role requires extensive experience with Dell EMC PowerMax/VMAX, Data Domain, SRDF, SnapVX, SAN technologies, IBM Power10 AIX environments, and Dell PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM).

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise storage infrastructure.
- Lead storage transformation, migration, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Manage Dell EMC PowerMax (PMAX/VMAX) storage arrays and Dell Data Domain appliances.
- Configure and administer SAN infrastructure, including Cisco SAN switches, zoning, and fabric management.
- Perform LUN provisioning, masking, storage allocation, and capacity planning.
- Implement and manage SRDF replication and SnapVX snapshot technologies.
- Manage backup, restore, retention policies, and disaster recovery processes using Dell PPDM.
- Monitor storage performance, analyze IOPS, latency, and throughput, and optimize performance.
- Perform firmware upgrades, storage patching, and preventive maintenance.




- Automate storage administration using Unisphere, REST APIs, and orchestration tools.
- Ensure storage security through encryption, access controls, audit logging, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, database, and cloud teams to ensure high availability.
- Support hybrid storage integration with cloud platforms such as GCP.
- Develop operational documentation, SOPs, and technical procedures.
- Coordinate with Dell EMC and Cisco vendors for escalations and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, SLAs, and enterprise governance standards.

- 12–18 years of enterprise storage and backup administration.
