Bhullar Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Urban & Regional Planner to support a range of infrastructure and development projects across regional NSW.
You will manage planning processes from feasibility through to approvals, working closely with engineers, project managers, clients, councils and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning projects from concept to approval
- Prepare and review Development Applications and planning reports
- Provide strategic and statutory planning advice
- Assess proposals against NSW planning legislation and controls
- Liaise with councils, agencies and consultants
- Identify planning risks and provide practical solutions
- Support project feasibility and development strategies
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and consultants
- Ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery of planning work
About You
- Degree in Urban/Regional/Environmental Planning or related field
- Senior-level planning experience in NSW
- Strong knowledge of NSW planning system and approvals
- Experience with Development Applications and planning reports
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage projects independently
