Site Manager

Hicon is looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to lead site operations across a diverse range of commercial construction projects.

You'll play a key role in driving project delivery and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

The Role

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all onsite activities to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

Working closely with the Project Manager, Contract Administrator and Site Operations team, you'll oversee construction operations from project commencement through to completion while managing subcontractors, safety, quality, logistics and stakeholder relationships.

This role requires strong leadership, communication and planning skills, with the ability to drive productivity and maintain high standards across all site operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate all stages of project delivery on site

- Manage construction progress against project programs

- Drive site safety, compliance and quality outcomes

- Coordinate subcontractor activities, access and performance

- Lead daily planning, site coordination and trade management activities

- Oversee site logistics, deliveries, material management and site establishment

- Maintain compliance,



site documentation and project records

- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders

- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain project outcomes

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects onsite

- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project sequencing

- Experience leading subcontractors and site teams

- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements

- Experience working within live or high-risk environments is highly regarded

- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Experience using BuildPass and construction management systems
