- Both roles are permanent in nature and located at the Nullawarre Kindergarten
- Teacher role - Part-time role 25 hours per week across three days, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
- Diploma Educator - Part-time role 21 hours per week across three days, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
- Study Leave provisions are available for Diploma Educators studying towards their qualification

To be successful in this role you will need
Qualifications
Essential

- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education OR Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (or Cert III Qualified working towards) in accordance with requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
- Current level 2 first aid accreditation (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma training) or willingness to obtain
- Have a current employee working with children check / Teaching Registration
- Current driver licence

Experience
Desirable

Relevant experience working in an early childhood setting

Key selection criteria 1

Demonstrated knowledge and practice of early childhood learning, this would include but is not limited to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and associated support resources as well as the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)

Key selection criteria 2





Positive time management skills and ability to coordinate responsibilities to enable the smooth andefficient running of the program, while working cooperatively as a team member with all educators

Key selection criteria 3

Proven ability to appropriately address concerns raised by families and to work with families to resolve issues and conflicts

Key selection criteria 4 - Teaching Applicants ONLY

Capacity to respond in an appropriate manner to children and family members, when addressing challenging, unpredictable or unusual behaviour in children, including the choice of teaching strategies for these children
