Cooper Grace Ward is excited to be extending an opportunity for a senior Tax Lawyer with specialist skills in GST and/or payroll tax to join our leading Commercial and Private Client workgroup. As a valued team member, you will have the opportunity to work with and within our broader tax sub-team which assists clients with a broad range of tax and revenue matters. The role will be exposed to a wide range of commercial, property and litigious matters, and will involve both standalone tax advice as well as assisting with specialist advice on property and commercial transactions.

Requirements

- Previous experience and a genuine interest in GST and payroll tax, along with a general understanding of tax law
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently produce accurate, high quality work
- Dedication to the excellence and the delivery of outstanding client service
- Desire to strengthen and build client relationships to continually contribute to the growth and success of the firm
- Ability to work autonomously and assist with providing guidance to junior team members
