Senior Project Engineer (White Space ECI)

Location: Perth CBD
Employment Type: 6 months casual contract with likelihood of extension

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer – White Space ECI to lead the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) workstream for mission‑critical and white space infrastructure. This role will take ownership of scoping, procuring, managing, and closing out the ECI phase, ensuring contractor insights are effectively transitioned into FEED, procurement packages, and the downstream D&C; delivery model.

Working closely with Engineering, Systems Integration, Area Managers, Construction, Procurement, Commercial and Package Delivery teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring constructability, modularisation, execution planning and pricing inputs are captured early and integrated into the project’s technical and delivery frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end‑to‑end delivery of the Mission Critical & White Space ECI workstream, including scope development, programme planning and governance.

- Develop ECI scope, deliverables, programme and governance, ensuring alignment with FEED and project objectives.

- Manage ECI mobilisation, meetings, actions, contractor inputs and deliverable acceptance, maintaining clear accountability and progress visibility.

- Coordinate constructability, modularisation, execution planning, schedule and pricing outputs, ensuring contractor insights are robust, validated and actionable.

- Ensure ECI outputs are incorporated into the FEED reference design, procurement packages and D&C; scope, enabling seamless transition into detailed engineering.





- Support novation and transition readiness at commencement of Detailed Engineering, ensuring contractor knowledge and deliverables are fully integrated.

- Collaborate across key interfaces, including Lead Project Engineer, Systems Integration, Area Managers, Engineering, Package Delivery, Construction, Contracts & Procurement, and Commercial.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Extensive experience delivering complex engineering scopes within major infrastructure or mission‑critical environments.

- Proven capability managing high‑value ECI contractor workstreams independently.

- Strong understanding of constructability, modularisation, execution planning and early‑phase pricing methodologies.

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical inputs and manage interfaces across engineering, procurement and construction teams.

- Experience transitioning ECI outputs into FEED, procurement packages and D&C; delivery models.

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across technical and non‑technical teams.

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline.
