We are looking for qualified Optical Dispensers or experienced Optical Assistants; both full time and part-time positions available to join Team Success.

Offering an exciting opportunity to work alongside supportive, experienced colleagues in an optical retail setting, where everyone contributes and celebrates together. Delivering exceptional customer service whilst dispensing and providing innovative eyewear solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive accurate, professional optical services and leave our practice with confidence in their eyewear and audiology needs.

What you'll be doing

- Dispensing and fitting prescription spectacles, sunglasses, specialty, safety and sport options and contact lenses

- Ensuring frames are accurately adjusted and fitted to customers' specifications

- Providing expert advice on lens options, coatings and eyewear care

- Processing customer orders and managing stock of frames and lenses, contacts and dry eye solutions

- Maintaining accurate records of dispensing activities and customer information

- Delivering outstanding customer service and building long-term customer relationships

- Assisting with optical testing where required and supporting the clinical and audiology team

- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment

- Contributing to the achievement of practice targets and goals

- Assisting with Myopia control and dry eye therapy

What we're looking for

- Compassionate and caring nature, empathy, professionalism and reliability.





- A passion for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of the practice.

- Current Optical Dispenser qualification (equivalent in Cert IV Optical Dispensing) or extensive experience as an Optical Assistant demonstrating significant product knowledge

- Strong current knowledge of optical products, lens types, coatings and frame styles and contact lens options

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally

- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when dispensing and fitting eyewear

- Proficiency with optical dispensing software and computer systems

- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues providing interprofessional care

- Reliable, organised and proactive approach to work

- Experience in a retail or healthcare environment (preferred but not essential)
