At Jacobs, we're using digital technology to help solve complex challenges for our clients across a range of industries and as we grow our Perth based Digital Architecture & Software Development team, we're now looking for an Application Developer to support the development of cutting-edge mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

- Design, develop, test and support mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms
- Assist with the integration of applications with databases, APIs and enterprise systems




- Develop user-friendly, secure and scalable digital solutions
- Support application deployment, maintenance and ongoing enhancements
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients
- Communicate effectively with project managers regarding priorities, progress and deliverables
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients through effective communication and delivery

Here's what you'll need

- Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Geospatial Science or a related discipline
- Experience developing mobile applications for iOS and/or Android
- Understanding of application development principles, frameworks and deployment processes
- Exposure to web and desktop application development
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Experience working with GIS or spatial data, exposure to ESRI ArcGIS products and technologies, and an understanding of cloud-based application development and integrations would be advantageous but are not essential
