Maintenance Planner – Immediate Start

Role Overview

Altus Wind Pty Ltd, a Queensland-based Australian company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to support wind turbine blade maintenance and repair operations across multiple project sites.

This full-time role combines blade-repair knowledge with maintenance planning, technical coordination and field support. The successful candidate will work closely with site teams, project managers, engineers, quality personnel and operations staff to ensure all blade inspections, repairs and maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare maintenance schedules and work scopes for turbine blade inspection and repair, coordinating sequencing, equipment and technician availability

· Coordinate and monitor blade technician teams performing inspections, repairs and maintenance at height, ensuring compliance with timelines and safety standards

· Review inspection reports and confirm proposed maintenance and repairs are carried out in accordance with OEM procedures

· Coordinate tools, consumables and composite repair materials, and ensure specialised equipment is calibrated and ready

· Coordinate and monitor secure work planning (rope-access, working-at-heights, confined-space) in line with site risk assessments

· Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation, and prepare reporting on inspections and completed works

Candidate Profile





The ideal candidate will have:

· Experience coordinating or supporting blade technician teams

· Strong knowledge of composite materials and blade-repair/maintenance techniques

· The ability to make clear technical and operational decisions under pressure

· Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills

· Strong attention to safety, quality, productivity and documentation

· Experience analysing daily performance and identifying improvements

· The confidence to address poor practices professionally and constructively

Minimum Requirements

· Ability to interpret repair/maintenance manuals, engineering instructions, technical drawings and method statements

· Experience with quality documentation, repair evidence and reporting requirements

· Experience using systems such as ServiceNow, SAP or BladeKore

· Strong Microsoft Excel, reporting and data-management skills

· Strong written and spoken English

· Ability to travel to wind farm sites as required

Preferred Experience

· Experience with Nordex, Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, GE, Enercon or similar platforms

· Knowledge of NCR management, inspections and technical-deviation processes
