Council is seeking 2 Full-Time Mechanics to join our team

Purpose:

Provide plant, vehicle and equipment servicing and repairs to ensure that Council’s plant fleet is safe,



fit for purpose and operating at optimum efficiency.

Mandatory and Highly Desirable Qualifications and Licences:

To be successful you will need to demonstrate that you meet the below mandatory requirements for the role:

- Current C (Car) Class Driver Licence with ability to upgrade to MR or higher within 12 months
- General Construction Induction (White Card).
- Certificate III in either Automotive, Diesel Engine Technology, Heavy Commercial Vehicle, Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
- HR (Heavy Rigid) Class Driver Licence (Desirable)
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (Desirable)
- Recognised competencies in MiG, Arc and/or Oxy Welding (Desirable)
- Current Confined Spaces and Gas Test Atmosphere certification (Desirable)
- First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
