We are urgently seeking part time dental assistants/receptionists dual role position to join our busy dental practice in the inner north suburb of Canberra.

Please inform us of your available days and hours for all 7 days, as there are flexible available shifts. Our opening hours are:

Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 6:00pm

Saturday: 9:00am to 3:00pm

Sunday: 9:00am to 1:00pm

Candidate Requirements:

- No experience required, though some dental knowledge/experience would be handy
- Minimum 12 month commitment
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Open to up to one day of unpaid training/observation
- Mature and responsible attitude, able to supervise and motivate other staff to fulfill their duties and responsibilities

Candidate Preferences:

- Being on-call for any other days outside their schedule shifts would be considered with higher priority




- Applicants being open to learning both dental assistant and receptionist roles would be prioritised in consideration and paid more

Dental Assistant Key Responsibilities:

- Chairside assisting
- Reception duties, e.g. taking phone calls, booking patients, taking payments
- Sterilisation of dental equipment
- Charting and record-taking
- Laboratory duties
