We are looking for experienced, passionate educators to join our team in one of two leadership positions:

Educational Leader
Room Leader

Both positions are open to Diploma qualified educators and Early Childhood Teachers.

Whether your strength lies in mentoring educators and driving quality practice across a service, or leading a room and creating an incredible environment for children and your team, we would love to hear from you.

About The Kindy Garden

The Kindy Garden is a privately owned Early Learning Centre in Caringbah South.

We pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive and genuinely enjoyable workplace where educators are trusted, valued and encouraged to grow.

We believe great early childhood education starts with great educators. Our leadership team is actively involved in the service and works alongside our educators to provide support, guidance and opportunities for professional growth.

Educational Leader

Our Educational Leader works across the service to strengthen educational practice and support the professional development of our team.

You will work closely with our Director, Assistant Director and Room Leaders to:

- Lead and support the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Mentor, coach and inspire educators through guidance, feedback and role modelling
- Support educators with programming, documentation, observations and meaningful learning experiences
- Encourage meaningful critical reflection and continuous improvement
- Support and mentor students and trainees throughout their studies and placements
- Contribute to our Quality Improvement Plan and ongoing Assessment and Rating readiness




- Support educators to build their confidence, knowledge and professional practice
- Work alongside educators in the rooms to model and strengthen quality practice
- Help maintain a positive, qualified and collaborative team culture

Previous experience as an Educational Leader is highly regarded, however we are also open to an experienced Room Leader or senior educator who is ready to take the next step.

Room Leader

Our Room Leader will take responsibility for leading one of our beautiful learning environments while working closely with their team and the wider leadership group.

You will:

- Lead and support your room team to provide high quality education and care
- Build warm, secure and respectful relationships with children and families
- Guide programming, observations, documentation and critical reflection within your room
- Create engaging, intentional and play based learning environments
- Mentor and support educators within your team
- Support students and trainees working within your room
- Maintain strong supervision, routines and regulatory compliance
- Communicate openly and professionally with families
- Lead by example and contribute positively to the culture of the wider service
- Work collaboratively with other Room Leaders and our leadership team

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their room, notices what needs to be done and enjoys bringing a team together.

About You

For either position, you will ideally have:





- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in Early Childhood Education and Care, with 3+ years preferred for the Educational Leader position
- A strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standard
- A current NSW Working With Children Check
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Confidence supporting and mentoring other educators
- A professional, positive and proactive approach
- A genuine love of working with children and being part of a team

Previous leadership experience is highly regarded, however we are also interested in hearing from strong educators who are ready to take the next step in their career.
