The successful applicant will be responsible for providing taxation and accounting services to a diverse client portfolio while ensuring compliance with Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards.
Key responsibilities include:
· Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
· Providing taxation advice in accordance with Australian taxation legislation.
· Analysing clients' financial information and identifying taxation implications.
· Assisting clients with income tax, CGT, FBT, GST and PAYG obligations.
· Preparing BAS, IAS and other taxation compliance documents.
· Conducting tax research and applying relevant Australian taxation legislation and ATO rulings.
· Providing financial and taxation advice on business structures, taxation planning and business operations.
· Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on behalf of clients.
· Maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring compliance with legislative and qualified requirements.
· Working collaboratively with the accounting team to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
