About the Opportunity

As a Radiation Therapist level 2 you will assume a responsible role in performing all aspects of radiation therapy imaging, planning and treatment delivery, according to departmental and District policies, procedures and guidelines.

In this role you will:

- Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in complex clinical procedures.
- Participate in the development and upgrading of clinical protocols and techniques.
- Undertake a proactive role as a multidisciplinary team member to ensure optimum patient care, throughput and efficiency.
- Undertake a key role in delivering service to the highest professional and technical standards at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Therapy) or Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Sciences) - Radiation Therapy or qualifications deemed equivalent by CCLHD. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).



Licensure and accreditation with appropriate authorities including Australian Institute of Radiography & Department of Setting Climate Change and Water.
- Demonstrate in all aspects of radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery including; multimodality imaging, IMRT, VMAT and IGRT techniques.
- Demonstrated proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, to interact with patients, their carers and professional colleagues.
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance and quality controls in radiation therapy.
