This is a locum doctor role for a General Practice Consultant at Cowra in NSW. ### Role Info Qualifications/Experience
- Advanced Life Support Level 2 within the last 3 years
Duties
- Face-to-face clinical handover with day doctor for 30 minutes at the beginning and end of the shift in the Emergency Department.
- Provide medical care to inpatients, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as requested.
- Provide onsite medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
- Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR.
- Provide and lead clinical review, rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility
- Check pathology and radiology results in the ED results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up of results.
- Participate in the training and supervision of students, junior medical officers and registrars.
- Participate in clinical meetings as requested
- Provide transparent management plan for patients being admitted with full medication reconciliation and documentation.
- Accept transfers in from other hospitals and document care plan and medications.
