About the Roles:
Our Assistant Venue Manager and Duty Manager opportunities are suited to experienced hospitality professionals who are confident supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy venue.

Working alongside Venue Managers and senior leadership teams, you will help lead service, support team performance, maintain operational standards and ensure guests receive an exceptional experience.

Depending on the venue, responsibilities may include overseeing bar, gaming, functions and events, team leadership, compliance, customer service and general venue operations.

These are hands-on leadership roles where you'll be expected to lead by example, support your team and maintain a strong floor presence throughout service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day operation of the venue and lead shifts across busy trading periods

• Lead,



coach and support team members to deliver exceptional customer service

• Maintain high standards of service, venue presentation and operational performance

• Oversee bar, gaming, functions and other venue operations as required

• Ensure compliance with RSA, gaming, WHS and company policies and procedures

• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally

• Support rostering, team training and operational planning

• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling and general administration

• Maintain a strong floor presence and lead the team from the front

• Work closely with Venue Managers and senior leadership to achieve operational and commercial objectives

About You:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role

• Strong understanding of pub and venue operations within a quick-paced hospitality environment

• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a high-volume environment

• Hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for hospitality

• Strong communication, problem-solving and customer service skills

• Confident managing busy shifts and making decisions under pressure

• Highly organised with strong operational awareness

• Current RSA and RSG certificates required





• ARCG highly regarded

• Flexible availability across nights, weekends and public holidays
