A leading financial services organisation in Sydney CBD is seeking a Cash and Reconciliation Analyst to join their Pacific Operations team. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring data integrity across multiple registries and accounts, utilising advanced spreadsheet functions and reconciliation tools.

- $450 - $550 plus super
- Superannuation experience is a bonus
- Hybrid working

What you'll do:

- Perform complex reconciliations involving large datasets between registries, general ledgers, and bank accounts using spreadsheets and reconciliation tools to ensure accuracy.
- Manage cash across multiple bank accounts to support legislative requirements, demonstrating responsibility for both Trust and Fund Accounts within Superannuation funds.
- Troubleshoot and resolve exceptions or discrepancies efficiently, maintaining data integrity throughout the reconciliation process by applying analytical skills.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for cash and reconciliation activities, providing guidance, support, and training to team members to enhance collective capabilities.
- Communicate reconciliation status, progress, and issues clearly and proactively to stakeholders and management, fostering transparency within the team.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex issues by applying deep knowledge of compliance requirements and internal controls to resolve challenges effectively.
- Ensure all cash-related activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies by maintaining thorough documentation and audit readiness.
- Design and develop processes to meet evolving legislative requirements using Excel or collaborating with vendors to implement solutions within automated reconciliation tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build and enhance reconciliations in automated platforms,



creating matching rules and controls that improve efficiency.
- Validate control effectiveness and compliance with regulatory standards by documenting findings clearly, recommending process improvements that strengthen controls.

What you bring:

- Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field is required; CPA/CA qualification or equivalent Accountant credentials are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Extensive operational experience within financial services or Superannuation Administration demonstrates your dependability in handling complex fund operations.
- Treasury, liquidity or cash management experience equips you with practical knowledge for managing multiple bank accounts efficiently.
- Proficiency in Excel including advanced functions for working with large datasets ensures you can create effective reconciliation templates.
- Experience working with reconciliation tools such as Trintech or Blackline is highly desirable for automating processes.
- Deep understanding of the Superannuation industry including member and reserve transactions allows you to map funding movements accurately.
- Well-developed problem-solving abilities enable you to resolve exceptions without existing procedures while maintaining data integrity.
- Computer literacy skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications support your ability to document processes thoroughly.




- Ability to prioritise workload based on urgency ensures operational risks are minimised through responsible task management.
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments helps you respond positively to regulatory changes while promoting open communication.
