Glenmore Park Early Learning Centre is a brand-new, state-of-the-art 160-place childcare service located in the heart of Glenmore Park.
We are a family-owned organisation with over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, committed to providing exceptional care, high-quality education and a supportive environment where children, families and educators can thrive.
We are seeking a passionate, experienced and highly capable Centre Director to lead our newly established service. ? About the Role
As Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and day-to-day operation of the service.
Your focus will be on creating a positive and high-performing workplace culture, supporting and developing your team, maintaining strong relationships with children and families, and ensuring the service consistently meets high standards of education, care and compliance.
You will be a natural people leader who knows how to inspire,
mentor and bring out the best in others. You understand that when educators feel supported, valued and connected, children and families flourish.
Working closely with the Administration Coordinator, Area Manager and Approved Provider, you will take ownership of:
- Leading, mentoring and developing educators and the leadership team
- Maintaining strong compliance with the National Law, National Regulations, NQS and service policies
- Driving continuous improvement and supporting the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan
- Building positive and lasting relationships with children, families and the local community
- Driving occupancy growth through strong enquiry management, enrolment conversion and family retention
- Proactively managing vacancies and supporting local marketing and community engagement initiatives
- Monitoring staffing levels, rosters and labour costs
- Managing centre budgets and supporting strong financial and operational performance
- Ensuring effective enrolment, administration and CCS processes
- Creating a welcoming, professional and high-quality service where children, families and educators are proud to belong

⭐ About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- Proven experience as a Centre Director, Nominated Supervisor or senior leader within Early Childhood Education and Care
- Strong people leadership skills, with demonstrated experience developing, mentoring and managing high-performing teams
- Demonstrated experience achieving occupancy and enrolment targets, including enquiry conversion, family retention and proactive vacancy management
- Strong commercial understanding, including experience managing centre budgets, labour costs and operational performance
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), National Law and National Regulations
- Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and reviewing a Quality Improvement Plan
- Strong understanding of childcare compliance, CCS and service administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational, computer and administrative skills
- A current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Child Protection, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
