Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with Phillip Island Nature Parks, are offering an innovative and inspiring People Culture & Safety Traineeship. As a Trainee, you will assist with organisational processes and support local community.
- Full-time 12-months fixed term commencing September or October 2026

Phillip Island Nature Parks is a unique conservation and ecotourism organisation. This Traineeship is a diverse role with tasks relating to administrative support including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, learning and development, health, safety and wellbeing.
Working for Phillip Island Nature Parks, your day-to-day administrative activities and participation in local events, will contribute to managing over 1,980 hectares of reserves, wetlands, and woodlands across Milawul. We acknowledge and recognise that many of these areas hold deep cultural and spiritual significance for Aboriginal people.
During this 1-year Traineeship, you will have the opportunity to assist the People and Culture team, to operate efficiently by providing responsive customer service, maintaining accurate information and supporting team processes. The People Culture and Safety Trainee will undertake a range of activities and work with an enthusiastic team of people who are committed to the protection of our beautiful natural environment.
The successful applicant will have
- Completion of Year 11 or Year 12 VCE or equivalent
- Eligibility to complete a Certificate III in Business
- Work experience in a relevant field. For example, Customer Service
- Competent written, verbal communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work with a team and complete tasks independently
- Organisational skills with attention to detail and able to prioritise tasks
- Ability to exert confidentiality and integrity
- Enthusiasm for self-development and desire to use this chance to enhance career prospects
