This is a full-time position based in Campbellfield, Victoria, working for Stows Waste Management, a leading provider of waste management and environmental services. As an HR/HC Driver - Vacuum Tanker Operator, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, operating specialised vacuum tanker equipment to deliver essential waste management services to our clients.
What you'll be doing
- General start time is 4-5am with earlier starts required on occasion
- Operating vacuum tanker equipment to collect and transport liquid waste
- Ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of waste management services to client sites
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and maintaining detailed records
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Providing excellent customer service to clients
- Collaborating with the wider operations team to optimise workflows
What we're looking for
- A current HR or HC driver's licence
- Experience operating vacuum tanker or similar specialised waste management equipment
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to safety
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
