- Facilitate the acquisition,

- Assist with data backup and recovery processes as required.

- Visit construction sites and hotel properties to resolve ICT incidents and identify and review ongoing technology needs.

- Liaise with technology vendors and service providers when required to resolve technical issues.

- Maintain a high level of customer service and provide transparent, professional communication to both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

- Work collaboratively with the Technology team and demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing business and technology requirements.

- Undertake other duties as required from time to time that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.

Skills Required

- Relevant tertiary qualification or industry certification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.

- Previous experience working in an IT Support or Service Desk role.

- Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively identify and resolve ICT-related issues.

- Strong customer service skills and a genuine willingness to assist users.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.

- Basic knowledge of firewalls, VPN and endpoint antivirus products.

- Basic knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing service requests, incidents and IT assets.

- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexible approach and a strong willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Ability and willingness to travel between GEOCON offices, construction sites and hotel properties as required.

Benefits

- Be part of a well-established, growing organisation with a genuinely diverse portfolio.

- Variety in your day-to-day — no two sites (or problems) are quite the same.

- Work closely with the Head of Technology in a role with real ownership and visibility.

- A supportive team environment where your input on IT operations is valued.
