The Opportunity





As an Occupational Therapist, you will play an important role in helping people of all ages build independence, increase participation, and achieve meaningful outcomes in their everyday lives.

Based in Albany, you will support clients across the Great Southern region through a combination of assessments, intervention / capacity building, and report production. You will work with clients, families, support networks and other professionals to deliver evidence-informed, person-centred services tailored to individual goals and circumstances.

Key responsibilities include:

- Completing functional, equipment, and environmental assessments
- Developing individualised intervention plans and recommendations
- Providing therapy, capacity building, and skill development supports
- Completing reports and documentation to support funding and service outcomes
- Prescribing assistive technology and environmental modifications where appropriate
- Collaborating with families, support coordinators, educators, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
- Managing a caseload while maintaining high clinical and professional standards

This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse caseload while enjoying the variety that comes with regional practice.



You will be supported by an experienced clinical leadership team and a broader multi-disciplinary team, while having the autonomy to develop your clinical interests and make an impactful contribution to the local community. Additionally, a local Therapy Assistant will work with you to ensure client's needs are efficiently met.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification)
- Current AHPRA registration
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the community
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
