Scotch Oakburn College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Japanese to join our team at the Penquite Campus in Launceston. This permanent part-time position falls under the department of Languages and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and training sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Japanese language lessons that engage and inspire students.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of students.
- Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with varying abilities.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of their achievements.
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Japanese language curriculum.
- Participating in departmental meetings, school events,



and professional development activities as required.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- A recognised teaching qualification with relevant experience in teaching Japanese language at secondary level.
