We are seeking Critical Care Registrars (PGY4+) to join a busy, well‑resourced ICU team within a major regional trauma retrieval centre.

The Role

You will work as part of a dedicated critical care team providing high‑quality, patient‑centred care across a 10‑bed ICU/HDU service spread across two campuses. You'll manage a diverse casemix of critically ill adult and occasional paediatric patients under the guidance of experienced ICU consultants.

Your responsibilities will include:
Direct clinical management and consultation for ICU/HDU patients
Active participation in trauma and retrieval cases
Contributing to quality assurance and safety initiatives within the department
Supporting and mentoring junior doctors
Engaging in education and training opportunities to enhance your qualified growth

About You
MBBS or equivalent,



with current AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
PGY4+ with significant experience in critical care (ICU, ED, or anaesthesia)
Paediatric and adult clinical exposure preferred
Solid teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
