Join our mission to make a positive impact and create meaningful change in the lives of our clients.Role DescriptionThis is a full time hybrid role based in Newcastle, NSW, with flexibility for work-from-home arrangements.
As a Clinical Psychologist at M8 Support, you will provide psychological assessments, deliver tailored counseling services, and engage in clinical supervision.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the mental health and well-being of individuals with diverse needs, designing treatment plans, and contributing to fostering resilience and personal development for clients seeking greater independence and community engagement.Responsibilities and DutiesDevelop, implement and evaluate appropriate treatment plans for each participant and collaborate with families,Design,



evaluate and assist in the implementation of evidence based psychological interventions.Identify opportunities to provide other cross disciplinary services which may be of benefit to the participant.Maintain participant health records and documentation according to the organisation's policies.Knowledge and skillsProvide assessments and diagnosis of participants.Demonstrate ability to provide physiotherapy services to people of all ages with a range of acute or chronic conditions, multiple and complex needs.Demonstrate experience in providing physiotherapy assessments and treatments.Knowledge of various forms of physical therapy and equipment-based therapy.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.The ability to build and maintain rapport with participants.Demonstrate experience in innovative program planning, implementation and evaluation.Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.QualificationsProficiency in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, and Mental Health practicesExperience in Psychological Testing and Clinical SupervisionStrong ability to collaborate effectively, build client trust, and adapt to diverse needsRegistration as a practicing Clinical Psychologist with the appropriate regulatory bodyUp-to-date knowledge of ethical standards and best practices in clinical psychologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working with individuals with disabilities or in an allied health setting is highly desirable
