An innovative Federal Government Agency is looking to engage an experienced Logistics, Assets and Procurement Coordinator to provide end-to-end logistics, procurement and asset management support within a secure and high-tempo operational setting.
The successful candidate will support equipment procurement, asset management, deployment planning, travel coordination and stakeholder engagement across government and private-sector partners.
The role will be offered as an initial 12 month contract with a 12 month extension option, based in Barton, ACT.The Logistics, Assets and Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for but not limited to;Coordinating operational deployments, logistics activities and travel administrationManaging end-to-end procurement activities, contracts and supplier relationshipsIdentifying and mitigating procurement, logistics,
supply-chain and operational delivery risksMaintaining accurate asset registers and coordinating regular stocktakesSupporting budget management, financial forecasting and procurement planningThe Logistics, Assets and Procurement Coordinator will have experience in the following:Demonstrated experience with SAP or equivalent enterprise systemsExperience across logistics, asset management, procurement and operational supportDemonstrated ability to identify and mitigate supply-chain, logistics and procurement risksExperience supporting secure, technical, international or complex operational environmentsExperience with dangerous goods or regulated operational environments will be highly regardedThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics, Assets and Procurement Coordinator looking to join a high-performing Federal Government environment.
