As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering culturally respectful family violence programs and services to the Aboriginal community.About the Role:This position operates within our Wellington office and aims to strengthen community capacity, provide specialist support, and promote healing-informed practices.
Your responsibilities will include:Collaborating with community members, organisations,



and healthcare providers to prevent and respond to family violenceDeveloping and implementing community education and prevention initiatives addressing violence, abuse, and neglectProviding trauma-informed support and referrals to individuals and families affected by violenceContributing to case management processes and interagency collaborationsParticipating in career development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledgeAboriginalityCert IV in Aboriginal Family Wellbeing and Violence Prevention (or willingness to undertake)Demonstrated awareness and understanding of issues impacting Aboriginal communities and familiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComputer literacy, report writing, and record-keeping skillsUnrestricted Driver's License and willingness to travelPrevious experience in delivering community programsGenerous not-for-profit salary packagingOpportunities for professional growth and developmentA supportive and inclusive work environmentIf you're passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of Aboriginal families and communities, we encourage you to apply.For any inquiries, please feel free to contact us at ******.
