Casual / Part-Time / Full-Time sleep therapist in auburnAbout the roleMuriHealth Respiratory & Sleep Specialist Centre is seeking an experienced Sleep and CPAP Scientist/Technician to provide daytime CPAP services and undertake overnight sleep studies when required.Key ResponsibilitiesCPAP/APAP/BiPAP setup, mask fitting and patient educationReview treatment adherence, efficacy, pressure requirements and device dataTroubleshoot mask leakage, residual events and therapy intolerancePerform CPAP and bilevel titration studiesSet up, monitor and troubleshoot attended overnight sleep studiesMaintain accurate documentation, equipment and infection-control standardsRequirementsRelevant health or sleep-science qualificationExperience in CPAP management and overnight sleep studiesCompetence in electrode application, signal monitoring and troubleshootingStrong communication, documentation and patient-care skillsAbility to work independently during overnight shiftsExperience with Compumedics equipment and software is highly regarded.Flexible roster and competitive remuneration based on qualifications and experience.Key responsibilitiesConduct comprehensive sleep assessments and patient consultations to identify sleep disorders and underlying causesDevelop and implement individualised treatment plans utilising cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and other therapeutic interventionsProvide patient education on sleep hygiene, relaxation techniques and behavioural modificationsMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomesMaintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with clinical standards and regulationsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and allied health practitioners,
