Façade CAD Drafter
Kingswood Facades is seeking a Façade CAD Drafter to join our Adelaide-based design team.
This is a full time, office-based position requiring attendance Monday to Friday.
Applicants must currently be located in Adelaide and able to work from our Adelaide office each weekday.
This role is not available remotely or on a hybrid basis.

Kingswood Facades is a wholly South Australian owned and operated specialist façade contractor with more than 50 years of industry experience.
Our Adelaide-based design and project management team works with our wholly owned manufacturing operation in Thailand to design and deliver unitised curtain wall, window wall, bespoke façade systems, custom sunshades and architectural glazing for major Australian projects.
Our vertically integrated model covers design, engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, logistics and installation—giving our team the opportunity to see façade designs progress from architectural concept through to manufacture and construction.
About the role
Working with our designers, engineers and project managers, you will help develop coordinated façade documentation for complex commercial projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accurate façade design, shop and fabrication drawings- Developing details for curtain wall, window wall, glazing and bespoke façade systems- Interpreting architectural drawings, structural information and project specifications- Coordinating drawing information with project, engineering and manufacturing teams- Incorporating design changes,



review comments and approved revisions- Supporting the resolution of design, manufacturing and installation queries- Maintaining drawing quality and document control in accordance with project requirements and our ISO ****-certified Quality Management System- Contributing to practical, buildable and cost-effective façade solutions
About you
You will bring:
- Current residence in Adelaide and availability to work in the office Monday to Friday- Proficiency in AutoCAD- A relevant qualification in drafting, building design, architecture, engineering or a related discipline- Strong technical drawing and construction-detailing skills- The ability to interpret architectural and engineering documentation- Careful attention to accuracy, coordination and revision control- Good communication and problem-solving skills- The ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities
Previous experience in façades, glazing, aluminium systems, architectural metalwork or commercial construction will be highly regarded.
