As aSenior Interior Designerat Cachet, you'll lead the creative and technical direction of commercial fitout projects acrossSydney.You'll own concept development, design documentation, and project delivery ensuring every space reflects Cachet's design ethos and is delivered with precision.
We're a rapid growing and exciting design and construction firm working with a large portfolio of great clients across Australia and New Zealand!
You'll have exposure to design work for workplaces, mixed-use commercial assets, industrial, health and medical projects, hospitality and more!
About the Role
In this role, you will:
Lead interior design projects from concept through to technical documentation and delivery.
Develop space plans, finishes palettes, FF&E; selections, and presentation materials.
Produce and oversee high-quality documentation in Revit, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with consultants, project managers, procurement, and site teams throughout delivery.
Present design concepts to clients, manage feedback, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Mentor Interior Designers and Graduates, providing design guidance and knowledge sharing.
Ensure project quality through regular reviews, QA processes, and adherence to design standards.
Contribute to research, trend awareness, and the evolution of Cachet's design language.
Assist with material library upkeep, sample board preparation, and design administration.
Support a collaborative studio culture through participation in design reviews and team forums.
About You
You're an experienced designer (minimum 8years) with strong interiors / or design & construction commercial project exposure and the confidence to lead projects end-to-end.
You bring a balance of creativity, technical expertise, and commercial awareness.
You have:
Proven experience (8+years) deliveringdesign & construction,workplace, commercial, or mixed-useprojects in Australia and New Zealand.
Proven experience usingRevit (5+years)and strong documentation skills
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, D5/Enscape (or similar) exposure
Strong spatial planning, FF&E;, and presentation skills
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with strong time and priority management
A collaborative mindset and passion for mentoring junior designers
Knowledge of codes, regulations, and best-practice design standards
Curiosity for materials, trends, and innovative design tools
