Caterpillar Kidz ELC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Educators who areDiploma in Early Childhood Education and Careprofessional to join our team on apart-time basisin Reservoir, VIC ****.
This role is fundamental to providing high-quality early childhood education and care services to our community.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting children's development, wellbeing, and learning during their formative years.
This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while working within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Key responsibilities
Providing safe, nurturing and stimulating care and educational experiences for children in early childhood settings
Planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate learning activities and experiences that support children's cognitive, emotional, social and physical development
Observing and documenting children's progress, achievements and developmental milestones to inform individualised learning approaches
Communicating regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's development, progress and wellbeing
Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised learning environment that complies with health and safety standards and legislation
Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and behaviour guidance using positive and constructive approaches
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency in practices and to provide quality care across the centre
Following and adhering to all centre policies,



procedures and relevant early childhood education and care regulations
Contributing to the overall operation and success of the centre through teamwork and professional conduct
What we're looking for
Current or completed Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification recognised by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority)
Working With Children Check clearance or willingness to obtain one
First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification
Sound knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children, families and colleagues
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development and learning
The ability to remain calm and patient in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Flexibility and adaptability in responding to children's individual needs and interests
Commitment to maintaining professional standards, confidentiality and ethical practice
Experience working in a childcare or educational setting is highly valued
