About the Role
Set in the leafy streets of Spring Hill, just a stone's throw from Brisbane's CBD and Fortitude Valley, Kennigo Hotel strikes the balance between homely comfort and cosmopolitan flair, and our Food & Beverage team brings that to life every day.
We're looking for F&B; Attendants to join the team across the Kennigo Espresso Bar, our Social House Restaurant and Bar, and our conference and events catering, helping deliver everything from a morning coffee to an evening meal or a boardroom lunch.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in warm, attentive service.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver friendly, efficient food and beverage service across the café, restaurant, bar and conference spaces.
Take orders, serve food and beverages, and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Set up, service, and transparent tables and function spaces in line with service standards and event requirements.




Maintain cleanliness and presentation across all food and beverage areas, in line with hotel and hygiene standards.
Respond to guest requests and queries promptly and professionally, escalating where needed.
Assist with stock control, replenishment, and general venue upkeep.
Work collaboratively with kitchen, conference & events, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth service.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WH&S; procedures at all times.
What You'll Bring
Experience in food and beverage service within a hotel, café, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
A friendly, guest-focused approach with genuine pride in good service.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Comfortable multi-tasking across a variety of service styles, from casual café to conference catering.
Strong attention to detail and presentation.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
