SPARE PARTS & ACCESSORIES ASSISTANT - SNOWY RIVER CARAVANS WANGARATTA
FULL TIME POSITION
Snowy River Caravans Wangaratta is a family-owned caravan dealership in North East Victoria looking for an organised and customer-focused Spare Parts & Accessories Assistant to join our team on a Permanent Full Time Basis. You will help customers find the right caravan parts and accessories, support our workshop and service team, and assist with the day-to-day management of parts orders and stock.
This position may suit someone working in a caravan dealership, a mechanical business, a car dealership, a retail parts business, or even someone with great personal skills who is willing to learn!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting customers with spare parts and accessory enquiries in person, over the phone and by email.
Identifying and recommending suitable caravan parts and accessories.
Researching and finding the right part for the right van.
Ordering parts from manufacturers and suppliers.
Following up outstanding orders and keeping customers (external and internal) updated.
Receiving, checking, labelling and putting away incoming stock.
Maintaining accurate stock levels and completing regular stocktakes.
Organising and preparing parts and accessories required by the workshop and service team
Processing invoices, purchase orders and other relevant paperwork
Keeping the parts and accessories display areas clean, organised and well presented




Assisting with the merchandising and promotion of accessories
Supporting the wider dealership team when required
ABOUT YOU
Friendly, skilled and confident communicating with customers
Organised and able to manage several orders and enquiries at once
Comfortable using computers, email, point-of-sale and inventory systems
Accurate with stock, paperwork and order processing
Reliable, positive and willing to help wherever required
Able to follow processes while also using common sense
Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on dealership environment
Physically capable of receiving, moving and organising parts and accessories
Previous spare parts, retail, automotive, caravan, warehousing or customer service experience would be helpful, but it is not essential. Training will be provided to the right person.
A current driver's licence is required. A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
THE DETAILS
Full time permanent employment
5 days per week (Monday - Friday 8:30AM > 5:00PM)
Approx. 3 Saturdays per month (9:30AM > 12:30PM)
Bonus structure to be provided
Package starting from $55,270 + Bonus structure
4 weeks annual leave
Annual Close down period over Christmas
