Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the shutdown.
Who We Are Mining Maintenance and Fabrication Services (MMFS) is a WA owned and operated business providing labour hire, permanent recruitment, maintenance and project support services across the mining, industrial and resources sectors.
Due to an upcoming fixed plant maintenance shutdown, we are currently seeking 2 x Trade Qualified Boilermakers and 2 x S26 Supervisors to join an experienced maintenance crew for approximately two weeks in Geraldton.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced shutdown personnel looking for competitive rates, long shifts and the opportunity to secure further shutdown and project work through MMFS.

Approximately 2 weeks of shutdown work Accommodation provided Paid travel time from Bibra Lake to Geraldton Opportunity for further shutdown and project work through MMFS The Role You will work as part of an experienced shutdown maintenance crew completing fixed plant maintenance and associated works.
Duties may include: Fixed plant maintenance Repairs and modifications Fabrication and welding Removal and installation of plant components General shutdown maintenance activities Working alongside fitters, supervisors and other trades Completing works safely and within project timeframes Boilermaker Requirements To be considered, you must have: Australian recognised Boilermaker / Fabrication Trade Qualification

Previous mining, fixed plant, shutdown or industrial maintenance experience preferred Strong commitment to workplace safety Ability to work 12-hour shifts Ability to work effectively within a shutdown crew Availability for the full project duration Availability to attend a face-to-face interview and/or weld test at the Bibra Lake workshop

Approximately 2 weeks of shutdown work Accommodation provided Paid travel time from Bibra Lake to Geraldton Hands-on supervisory position Opportunity for further shutdown and project work through MMFS The Role We are seeking experienced S26 Supervisors capable of effectively leading personnel while remaining actively involved in the shutdown works.
This is a hands-on supervisory position, with approximately 60% of your time expected to be spent on the tools.
Responsibilities may include: Supervising shutdown and maintenance personnel Coordinating daily work activities Fixed plant maintenance and repair activities Supporting trades personnel on the tools Ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently Monitoring work quality and productivity Ensuring compliance with site procedures and safety requirements Conducting pre-starts and toolbox meetings Coordinating tasks and work fronts Liaising with project management and other site personnel S26 Supervisor Requirements To be considered, you must have: Current S26 / Statutory Responsibilities for Mining Supervisors qualification
Relevant mechanical or fabrication trade background highly regarded Current HR Driver's Licence

Previous mining, shutdown, fixed plant or industrial maintenance supervisory experience Demonstrated ability to lead crews safely and productively Willingness and ability to perform a hands-on supervisory role Strong communication and leadership skills Availability for the full project duration Availability to attend a face-to-face interview and/or practical assessment at the Bibra Lake workshop
Important Pay Information Please ensure you have sufficient funds available to cover your meals during the first week of the project.
MMFS operates a Monday to Sunday pay period, with payment made on the Friday of the following week.
The $***** per day meal allowance will apply in accordance with the project arrangement.
