Material Handler

Start Time: 6am-2pm

Key Responsibilities:

- Materials Handling

- Operate electric and manual pallet jacks, pallet trucks, and other machinery to move raw materials, packaging, and finished products within the production and warehouse areas.

- Safely load and unload pallets, ensuring goods are handled with care to avoid damage.

- Support fitters in setting up equipment by delivering materials and assisting with component movement.

- Inventory & Stock Control

- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing goods, checking both quantity and quality against documentation.

- Label, scan, and place products into designated areas in accordance with warehouse procedures.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, ensuring trace ability and accountability of inventory.

- Identify, locate, and supply the correct products during the production process to support continuous work flow.

- Workplace Safety & Compliance

- Adhere to all workplace safety regulations, including manual handling practices, machine operation guidelines, and PPE requirements.

- Keep inventory areas, loading zones, and equipment clean, tidy, and hazard-free.

- Immediately report any faults, damages,



or safety risks to supervisors.

- Teamwork & Production Support

- Collaborate with production, fitting, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.

- Follow written and verbal instructions in English, ensuring compliance with production schedules and quality standards.

- Assist with general housekeeping and operational duties as required.

Skills & Requirements:

- Experience operating electric pallet trucks is essential.

- Ability to read, write, and follow written procedures in English.

- Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics setting (preferably FMCG or personal care products).

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.

- Physically fit, with the ability to safely handle manual tasks and work on your feet for extended periods.
