Marketing Manager & Client Consultant – Surrogacy
About Tammuz Family
Established in 2008, Tammuz Family is one of the world's established international surrogacy, fertility and egg donation organisations. We operate across multiple countries and have supported the birth of more than 2,000 babies, helping same-sex couples, heterosexual couples, single men and single women pursue their journey to parenthood.
We provide accessible international family-building pathways together with professional guidance and personalised support throughout what can be an exciting, complex and highly personal journey.
We are now expanding our Oceania team and are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager & Surrogacy Consultant to support our continued growth across Australia, New Zealand and India.
About the role
This is a unique, hands-on role combining marketing strategy, execution and performance management with a client-facing consultation component.
The primary focus of the position is marketing. You will take ownership of Tammuz Family's marketing activity across the Oceania region, working closely with our local digital agency and international teams to develop and execute strategies that generate awareness, strengthen our reputation, attract qualified prospective clients and support long-term growth.
Alongside your marketing responsibilities, you will act as one of the initial points of contact for prospective Intended Parents, conducting consultations and helping individuals and couples understand the international surrogacy pathways available to them.
We are therefore looking for someone who is commercially minded and genuinely hands-on. Someone who can develop the strategy, execute it, analyse the results and continuously improve performance, while also being comfortable speaking with prospective clients about an important and deeply personal decision.
Key responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution – Primary Focus
- Develop and own Tammuz Family's comprehensive marketing strategy across Australia, New Zealand and India.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, search, social media, content, email and other relevant channels.
- Work closely with our local digital marketing agency to plan, execute and optimise paid advertising and lead-generation campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance, website activity, lead sources and other marketing metrics, translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis and audience segmentation to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Strengthen Tammuz Family's brand positioning, awareness, credibility and reputation within the family-building and surrogacy sector.
- Develop and coordinate website content, educational resources, articles, marketing collateral and social media content.
- Manage and grow our social media presence, including community engagement and organic content.
- Develop initiatives that encourage long-term client engagement, community participation, testimonials and advocacy.
- Plan and deliver webinars, information sessions,
seminars and other lead-generation activities for prospective Intended Parents.
- Collaborate with our international marketing, sales and operational teams to ensure campaigns and messaging remain accurate and consistent.
- Monitor market trends and provide recommendations on where marketing resources and budget should be focused.
- Report regularly on marketing performance, lead quality, campaign effectiveness and client acquisition channels.
Surrogacy Consultation & Client Advisory – Secondary Focus
- Act as an initial point of contact for prospective Intended Parents considering international surrogacy.
- Conduct consultations with prospective clients and clearly explain the different programs, destinations and pathways available.
- Understand each prospective client's circumstances and help them identify appropriate options.
- Answer questions and address concerns professionally, sensitively and accurately.
- Support prospective clients through their decision-making process and initial onboarding.
- Maintain regular and structured follow-up communication with prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate records of consultations, follow-ups and lead activity.
- Work collaboratively with Case Managers and other internal teams to ensure a smooth transition once a client proceeds with Tammuz.
- Develop detailed knowledge of Tammuz Family's international surrogacy programs, processes and partner network.
What we're looking for
Essential experience
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong professional experience in marketing, digital marketing, brand strategy or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies rather than simply coordinate marketing activity.
- Hands-on experience working with digital agencies and performance marketing campaigns.
- Experience analysing marketing data, campaign results and lead-generation performance and using those insights to improve outcomes.
- Strong commercial awareness and ideally previous sales, business development or lead-conversion experience.
- Experience managing social media, digital content and online marketing initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The confidence to communicate with prospective clients in a skilled, empathetic and consultative manner.
- Experience organising or delivering webinars, events, information sessions or lead-generation activities.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a geographically dispersed international team.
- The flexibility to occasionally collaborate with colleagues across international time zones outside standard Australian business hours.
- Full qualified proficiency in spoken and written English.
Highly regarded
We would particularly welcome candidates with:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
- Previous client advisory, consulting, sales or account management experience.
- Experience within fertility, healthcare, family services, wellness or another sensitive service-based industry.
- Experience using Canva or similar tools and creating/managing social media content.
- An understanding of or genuine interest in surrogacy, fertility and assisted reproduction.
- Experience engaging with diverse and multicultural communities.
- A genuine interest in parenthood, LGBTQ+ communities and human rights.
Location & work arrangements
This is a full-time, Australia-based role with flexible working arrangements.
The position can be performed remotely/from home, with candidates located in a major Australian city preferred.
You will be part of Tammuz Family's Oceania team while also working closely with colleagues and departments internationally.
Some interstate travel should be expected, generally involving team conferences and meetings in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne approximately two to three times per year. There may also be opportunities for international travel to Tammuz Family global conferences.
Salary & employment
- $75,000 AUD per annum + superannuation
- Additional performance-based bonus/commission opportunities
- Full-time employment
- Flexible work-from-home arrangements
- Interstate travel opportunities
- Potential international travel opportunities
- Ongoing training and development in international surrogacy and family-building
Tammuz Family's global headquarters are based in Tel Aviv, Israel. In Australia, the successful candidate will be employed through Papaya Global as Tammuz Family's Employer of Record, with employment provided in accordance with Australian employment requirements, including statutory leave, taxation and superannuation arrangements.
Why join Tammuz Family?
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of marketing for a growing international organisation while working in a sector where your work has a tangible impact on people's lives.
You will join a close-knit Oceania team while having the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and specialists internationally.
