We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer – Network to join our Client & Technology division and play a key role in supporting and enhancing our enterprise network setting. In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering, administration, monitoring and ongoing optimisation of network infrastructure across a complex and diverse technology landscape. Working closely with infrastructure and project teams, you will contribute to the delivery of network initiatives while ensuring the stability, performance and security of critical business services. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on networking professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
What you will bring:
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with 3–5 years' experience in a similar network engineering or operations support role.
- Proven experience working within large, complex network environments, including WAN, LAN and Wireless technologies.
- Hands-on technical expertise across TCP/IP networking and routing protocols including BGP, OSPF and PBR.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco or Arista BGP EVPN VXLAN data centre solutions.
- Experience with modern networking technologies including VLAN, VXLAN, VRF, QoS, SD-WAN, IPSEC and STP, along with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD practices.
- Experienced in configuring and managing load balancing solutions using Radware Alteon and Citrix NetScaler.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and a current Cisco CCNP certification (or equivalent), AWS and GCP cloud networking experience beneficial
