About the role
First Steps is seeking dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Teacher and a Diploma qualified Educator to join our team in Killarney QLD .
These are part time positions offering between 15 to 37 hours per week, with flexible working conditions, that will see you play a vital role in supporting the development and learning of young children.
What you'll be doing
Plan and implement engaging educational programs that support the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of children
Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure their safety and wellbeing
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children's progress and address any concerns
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements
Participate in ongoing career development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education
What we're looking for
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Qualified Early Childhood Teacher
Strong knowledge of child development, curriculum planning and implementation, and relevant legislation and regulations




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences
A current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
