Food and Beverage Team Leader
$* per hour | Part time
Seasonal contract through until 3rd February

The Opportunity
In this role you will manage, coordinate and support your F&B; team to deliver expected standards in Food & Beverage operations of your outlet(s).
You will promote a positive work setting, ensure exceptional guest service standards are delivered, address guest complaints, monitor food safety standards and train and mentor your team.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the operational responsibilities of running your outlet through the management of staffing levels, stock levels and ensuring equipment is functioning correctly.
Provide clear direction to team members and motivate team members to maintain high standards of guest service and food safety, while following correct processes and procedures.
Mentor and develop your team through effective training and competency assessment and conducting performance reviews.
Monitor food and beverage preparation ensuring menu items are prepared to recipe, quality and food safety standards and orders are accurate.




Apply and monitor all food safety, RSA, hygiene and compliance requirements.
Consistently monitor outlet cleanliness and presentation including displays, signage, front of house areas and staff presentation.
Complete all relevant closing procedures and paperwork including stock management (SAP) and finalising registers.
Manage COGS and labour according to outlet targets.
Anticipate potential issues and act accordingly to create solutions.
Report any issues that may affect outlet operations to your Supervisor.
What We're Looking For
Currently working in a Senior position.
Excellent communication, delegation and leadership skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and SAP.
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
Analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience in leading large teams.
Willingness to complete further training courses.
Availability to work any day of the week including weekends and nights and at other VRTP properties as required.
