About the role Lighthouse Christian College is seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and reliable individuals interested in joining our team as aCasual Canteen Assistant. What you’ll be doing This role involves assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages, including coffee preparation, processing orders, maintaining a clean and safe canteen environment, and providing friendly service to our students, staff, and families.

Skills & Experience - A currentWorking with Children Check (WWCC) (mandatory)

- Barista skills and experience preparing coffee beverages (desirable)
- A current Food Handling Certificate (mandatory)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy team environment
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness An appreciation for and willingness to support the Christian ethos and values of the College

Previous experience in a school canteen, hospitality, café,



or food service environment will be highly regarded.
